As corny as it sounds, I become interested in Wedding and Event Planning when the movie "The Wedding Planner" debuted. Back then and still today, I love romance and fairy tales and everything that comes along with love. When I saw that movie, I realized I could have a career in the Wedding industry; From that moment on, I knew that I was going to be a wedding planner when I grew up.
I grew up in South Florida, but I spent every summer in Eagle River, Wisconsin. My family owns a small resort there. (www.eagleriverlastresort.com). We have owned it for 30 years. Being a part owner in a business for all my life has helped me to develop initiative and a hard working attitude. In April 2011, I graduated with a 4.0 GPA from the University of Florida with a degree in Event Management. Throughout my college career, I interned and worked for Wedding Planning companies, an Event Design company, and a Resort that hosted many events and weddings. I also achieved a certification in Wedding Planning. I currently live in Orlando and I cannot wait to start my career helping couples enjoy such a momentous day of their life.
